On Sunday, October 2, 2011, Marie-Lynn Piscitelli of North Haven was named MISS CONNECTICUT USA® 2012.  She was crowned at the conclusion of the three-day MISS CONNECTICUT TEEN USA® & MISS CONNECTICUT USA® Pageant, which was held at the Hartford Marriott Farmington Hotel in Farmington Connecticut.

Marie-Lynn Piscitelli is the 5’7 blue-eyed daughter of Vincent and Francine Piscitelli of North Haven Connecticut. Marie-Lynn holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration as well as a Masters Degree in Taxation. She is the owner of Makeup by Marie-Lynn and Perfect Body Online. Marie-Lynn’s career ambition includes becoming the first tax accountant to be featured as a cover model of Oxygen, an international health and fitness magazine, as well as continuing to expand her business. Her favorite hobbies include fitness competitions, cosmetic artistry, traveling, reading, modeling and baking. She describes herself as ambitious, passionate and independent.

 

Crowned by Regina Turner, MISS CONNECTICUT USA® 2011, Marie-Lynn will represent Connecticut in the MISS USA® 2012 Pageant, which will be televised on the NBC television network.

 

The remainder of the “Top 5” included: First Runner-up Erin Brady of East Hampton; Second Runner-up Melissa Vernik of Bethany; Third Runner-up Jacqueline Ferreira of Hamden and Fourth Runner-up Ranya May Rasamny of Redding.

 

The Semi-finalists were: Ashley Boate of Glastonbury, Stephanie Montufar of New Haven, Ashley Hutchings of Goshen, Jessica Bouwman of New Milford and Gretchen Hahn of Stamford.

 

Erin Brady was named Miss Photogenic and Ashley Wilson of Stamford was voted Miss Congeniality.

MISS CONNECTICUT TEEN USA® 2012

On Sunday, October 2, 2011, Logan West of Southington was named MISS CONNECTICUT TEEN USA® 2012.  She was crowned at the conclusion of the three-day MISS CONNECTICUT TEEN USA® & MISS CONNECTICUT USA® Pageant, which was held at the Hartford Marriott Farmington Hotel in Farmington Connecticut.

 

Logan West is the 5’7 brown-eyed daughter of Patricia and Michael West. Together they reside in Southington, Connecticut. Logan studies as a senior at Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts. Her career ambition includes attending Fordham University and obtaining a degree in dance. She also wishes to travel with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. Her future includes a degree in law and ultimately becoming a children’s lawyer specializing in divorce. Logan’s favorite hobbies include dancing, cooking, reading and collecting turtles. She describes herself as articulate, honest and dedicated.

 

Crowned by Samantha Sojka, MISS CONNECTICUT TEEN USA® 2011, Logan will represent Connecticut at the MISS TEEN USA® 2012 Pageant.

 

The remainder of the “Top 5” included:  First Runner-up Caitlin Wing of Simsbury; Second Runner-up Cindy Nguyen of Watertown; Third Runner-up Taylor Gallagher of Harwinton and Fourth Runner-up Jonet Nichelle of North Haven.

 

The Semi-finalists were: Fiona White of New Fairfield, Alexandra Tenney of Greenwich, Kendall Leary of Wallingford, Ellen Vandlik of Guilford and Nicole Morin of Plymouth.

 

Logan was named Miss Photogenic and Fiona was voted Miss Congeniality.
